MISSIONS

Faith in action

We are called to actively express our faith through intentional acts of kindness, compassion, and charity. Rooted in Christ’s teaching in Matthew 25, we seek to serve Him by serving others—feeding the hungry, welcoming the stranger, clothing the needy, and caring for the sick and imprisoned. Through these tangible expressions of love, we demonstrate our deep commitment to God and our neighbor, living out our faith in action as the hands and feet of Jesus in the world.

bethel bible village

Supporting Bethel Bible Village allows our church to live out Matthew 25:40—caring for “the least of these.” Bethel provides Christ-centered care, education, and hope for children facing adversity, and through this ministry we serve Christ by serving those in need.

camp horizon

Camp Horizon provides a Christ-centered summer camp experience for individuals with disabilities, offering a safe and joy-filled environment where every camper is valued, loved, and included. Through caring relationships and accessible activities, the camp reflects the heart of Christ’s love and the truth that every person is made in God’s image.

By supporting Camp Horizon, our church lives out the gospel call to serve others with dignity and compassion. We are partnering in a ministry that meets physical, emotional, and spiritual needs—bringing light, laughter, and hope to campers and their families.

Chattanooga Room in the inn

Their mission is “empowering women and children experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives by providing transitional housing, support, and hope.” The ministry helps the vulnerable take steps toward stability and dignity (housing, careers, family support) — which echoes how Jesus values the whole person and not just their immediate need.

sleep in heavenly peace

The Chattanooga chapter states their purpose as ensuring that “NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN CHATT TOWN!” — by building and delivering beds to children in need. The organization invites volunteers, donation of bedding, and community involvement — giving the church an opportunity not just to give funds, but to mobilize its people to serve, build relationships, and walk with those in need, which echoes the relational dimension of Jesus’ ministry.

shower up

ShowerUp's purpose is to build community, elevating dignity, ignite hope, and demonstrate God’s love through providing mobile showers, laundry, hygiene resources and personal care for people experiencing homelessness and need.

choices

Choices Pregnancy Resource Center (Chattanooga) offers dignified care and support to people in vulnerable situations — reflecting the value of welcoming the stranger and giving hope. It stands for the worth of both mother and child, advocating life and support rather than abandonment or shame — aligning with the worth given to every human in Matthew 25. They invite the church community to live out faith in tangible ways — not merely preaching, but serving.
